Tim De Graaw: Three Black Roses

Tim De Graaw has all the trappings of becoming a major player on this year's summer playlists. His debut EP Three Black Roses is filled with a bit of catchy, mainstream rock with just enough punch and swagger to appeal to the music geek's as well. The slow songs however, are not quite as good.

With two rockers - lead single Ivory and Carry On Easy, and three ballads (Michelangelo, the rather sappy Safety Vest and dude with a guitar performing at a bonfire ditty Oxygen) - he is at the first crossroads in his career and while the latter should get him more sales, he should definitely go for the road leading to rock. With his guitar skills and a voice like that he should not hold back and let rip.

Three Black Roses is a self-released EP. Buy it from iTunes. Full stream on Soundcloud.
