Video degrades over the years. Dorcas Mueller is part of team of "video doctors", who work on the preservation of unique footage. Like John Cale, Brian Eno and Nico in concert at the Nationalgalerie in West Berlin on October 5, 1974:
A lot of the work is routine,' explains Mueller. 'But sometimes there is great excitement like when we worked on the videos of Michael Geissler.' In 1974, the video activist recorded a concert by Nico, John Cale and Brian Eno. 'That is one of the most important works of the period,' she says.
