Daniel Lanois is one of the world's foremost producers. He worked with Eno, U2 and Neil Young to name a few. This tends to overshadow his own musical output. His latest projects is called Black Dub, a quartet with Daryl Johnson (bass), Trixie Whitley (guitar, vocals) and Brian Blade (drums).
Their self-titled debut drops November 2 on Jive Records. The soulful single I Believe In You serves as a taste of what's inside: recorded in one take and no overdubs.
