Jennie Arnau mixes New York bravado with South Carolina roots. With her acoustic guitar and in-your-face vocals as her weapons choice she has relased four albums. Her latest is called Chasing Giants, a collection of ten originals featuring notable guests: Al Schnier (moe.), Kevn Kinney (Drivin N Cryin) and Noam Pikelny (The Punch Brothers).
Arnau has been a recording artist since 2001 and is well respected among her peers. Chasing Giants is her fourth album and once again it is filled with tunes that are tailor made for Summer Festivals, with gentle late afternoon tunes like Jack B Nimble and The Sharp Thins. And when the sun sets it is time to play The Sparrow & The Gods, closing the show with Chasing Giants: "Beautiful sunset say goodnight/And don't go chasing giants/Don't go chasing giants/Without Me/By your side".
